In Scouting America (Scouts BSA), merit badges introduce youth to more than 135 subjects spanning outdoor survival, STEM, trades, arts, citizenship, and career exploration. Any registered Scout can work on any badge at any time; there are no rank prerequisites to begin earning them.
Where Can I earn Merit Badges?
Scouting is far more fun when participating alongside friends. Scouts considering undertaking a Merit Badge are encouraged to invite other members of their Patrol or Troop to complete the Merit Badge together.
